Help Me Test "The FEAST"

FEAST you eyes on a brand new Grandbaby...
I've just become a Gramma for the FIRST time ever! Isn't she amazing... sleepin' like a baby, lol.

I'm testing a brand new solution to the lousy diets most of us try to live on. Have you heard of UriLife's "The FEAST"?

I've heard such good things about it that I have to find out for sure if it's true. If it is, it's gonna be a slam dunk solution to a sticky icky problem - plenty of food but lousy nutrition producing national health that's going down the tube.

Since UriLife International has a 90 day guarantee on their products, I'm looking for 50 volunteers who will test their core product, The FEAST. I need honest opinions on:
The taste - they say even kids like it. I want to know what YOU think.
The value - if you feel a difference in your energy, sleep, productivity, cravings, weight etc.

Have you heard of Limu Moui yet?

I am excited about a wonderful way to take your HEALTH back and manage it yourself instead of being at the mercy of the system. I have a lot more to say about that but it will have to keep for later. I'm in a hurry to visit a friend who hasn't been able to get his health turned in a positive direction.

I just love to hear folks that break through and turn their health around. Here is a story I just heard. I love it!

Dear Jana,

I continue to share the life-changing message of Limu Plus!

Dr. Terry Bernstein

Dear Dr. Terry,

"Once upon a time, I had a joy for life and an exceptional vitality. My family, friends, and colleagues found it difficult to keep up with me! But that was before I lost my health and was robbed of the "quality" of life we hope to maintain until our inevitable passing. My endless search for answers became a frustrating and confusing venture, as most of the methods of I came upon, were not very effective. Nonetheless I never gave up hope and lucky for me, the answer to my search was introduced to me. Presently, I am on the road to total wellness. This is my story.

Over the past 18 years I have suffered from a number of syndromes, associated conditions, and symptoms that have robbed me of the wonderful quality of life that I once had. My issues were with: musculo skeletal; immune function; environmental, chemical and hormonal areas; joints; bowel health; digestive concerns; normal blood sugar; inability to rest; uneasiness; jaw concerns; uneasiness in the legs; menopausal concerns; circulatory and heart health; discomfort in the head, neck and other bodily areas; light sensitivity; skin and hair concerns; mental clarity; musculature; endurance; unusual sensations of tingling and burning; in other wordsconcerns throughout my body and mind!

Over the years, I have been involved in numerous searches and attempts for help, including many alternative programs. I have sought assistance from nearly every standard and alternative practitioner and spiritual guides. I have been prodded, tested, analyzed, and x-rayed. The list is long, endless, and invasive.

For over 18 years I have suffered continuously, relentlessly following numerous treatment plans in an effort to address my severe discomfort and the insufferable symptoms I experience daily and to improve my insalubrious state of being. But I achieved little. Six years ago, I had to give up the profession I adore, as a special needs teacher, and barely made ends meet with a monthly disability insurance cheque. I could not manage the responsibilities of teaching or my responsibilities at home. I spent numerous days in bed and was often home bound. My family had to take over caring for me, themselves, and for the household. Although somehow we learned to manage, I lost my independence and the quality of life that most of us take for granted.

Recently, a cousin of mine, Dr. Terry Bernstein, suggested that I try Limu Plus. I followed his advice and within two weeks I noticed some changes occurring in my body. Suddenly, my hair that usually felt like straw, felt like silk; the under parts of my feet, especially my heels, that usually had deep cuts, were practically healed and my skin seemed to return to normal.
Into the third week, my digestive system seemed to almost be back to normal. I am no longer on a restricted, bland, boring diet. I can now eat a variety of foods and rarely experience any of the serious bowel discomfort that I had before! Deep rest has become a reality as well and I sleep through the night without tossing, turning, kicking, grinding or making noises. During the day, my energy level has increased ten fold! But the ultimate change for me has been the relief of my intense discomfort! Although I do still have some it is nothing in comparison to the daily discomfort Ive had for so many years! I never believed for a minute that this extraordinary change would ever occur. I am ecstatic and ever so grateful to my cousins for sharing this gift from the sea!

Limu Plus is the quintessential food in today's stress filled, nutritionally starved world. Although I still have a ways to go to achieve total wellness, this nutrient rich nectar has helped me regain my lost health! A doctor once said to me, "Be weary of any product that claims to address many different health issues and claims to support the immune system," while other's have said, "How can one product address so many areas of health." Yet isn't this exactly what proper nutrition, and of course a positive outlook and exercise do? They support the immune system, address poor health, and extend a healthy life I feel confident that I am supplying my body with the natural nourishment that it needs, the building blocks to health and longevity. I feel more comfortable knowing the healing process is taking place from within and therefore addressing the cause of my health concerns rather than just addressing the symptoms. Limu Plus enables us to enjoy longer lives and make it worth living. Living longer, stronger, healthier and wealthier is now my mantra! I am thankful to God for his wonderful creation, to everyone involved in bringing it to North America, and to my cousin, Dr. Terry Bernstein and his family for bringing it to me. It truly is a blessing! My life has been and will continue to be enhanced and I will share this precious gift with others! And so, I pass on this information to all who care to listen and hope that my story will be the catalyst to influence others to try this nutrient rich drink, and ultimately achieve their own triumphs! There is hope for good health and happiness, and you don't have to look far to find it."

O My Aching Back!

Back pain is the pits!

I've had my fill. It started in second grade. I had spinal menengitis and they gave me a spinal tap. I remember walking back to my bed bent over cuz I couldn't straighten up. A nurse in the hall enroute slapped me on the back and said, "straighten up dearie". I eventually did.

Several years later my back "went out" for the first time while playing baseball. I swung hard at a pitch and hobbled home. Spent several days in bed.

Next time I was tossing bales of hay in my farm community. It seemed to happen every couple years.

Then I ended up in the hospital with a bulged disk. That was an ordeal. I couldn't turn or sit up. I think the brightest spots in those days were "time for pain meds". Anyway, that's a looong story. It's a miraculous one so maybe I'll tell it another time.

All of that to say I really understand back pain and REALLY appreciate that it's no longer part of my life. No, I didn't have an operation. I read a couple books that changed my life. The first one is "Pain Free" by Pete Egescue. That book enabled me to turn back pain around and kick it out. Then another book by a guy named Hanna, "Somatics" helped even more and I have a healthy back again and know how to keep it so.

I remember when I started it would take maybe 3 days to turn off the pain. Now I practice 10 minutes of prevention 3-5 times a week and the pain doesn't visit anymore. YIPEE!

Somebody out there may be in a world of pain and wanting to do something about it other than surgery which does not deal with the real
cause. These books are in my library, check yours.

I've experienced wonderful results through prayer so if anyone wants that I'm glad to help. You can email me at bewellbewealthy@mac.com.

Blessings!

Airplane Remedies

Spent 6 hours in flight across America from West Coast to Eastern Seaboard - boy! was that hard on my ears.

The descent after 5 hours in the air produced painful pressure that wouldn't clear. My hearing was muffled for hours and they kept popping for the more than a day.

I still hadn't fully recovered before the return flight. I bought a pack of gum this time and busily made like a Jersey cow much of the flight.

But I was worried. I lost the hearing in one ear as a child so anything that affects that one good ear is a real concern.

To make a long story shorter...when chewing furiously didn't help I asked the flight attendant for advice. She said some folks chew on ice cube so she brought me a cup and I did.

Lo and behold... that worked - O Happy Day!

On the subject of travel... if you could save up to 75% on your travel for the rest of your life and share the good fortune with family and make a lot of money helping folks do the same, wouldn't you want to know about it?

I sure would and I did and I'm tickled to be able to pass it on to any one else who would love to be able to travel more and have more money and time to enjoy it.

By the way earning no less than $1000 isn't exactly demotivating... but those $3000 and $6500 checks really rock! ...as my kids would say.

More Herbal Health Stategies

I didn't have time to tell you how I preserve fresh ginger root to have on hand at first sign of a cold or flu or upset tummy.

Some pregnant women struggling with morning sickness respond well to ginger root but again the big challenge to all health care strategies is everyone is so unique you have to pay attention to your own body and explore to find what works for you.

Anyway, I peel a piece of ginger root and use a potato peeler to slice it thinly into a jar, cover with honey and add some Vodka to keep it from fermenting. The ginger juice from the slices thin the honey enough to speed fermentation.

It doesn't take much Vodka to preserve it - maybe a fifth (not a bottle but a fifth of the volume of your concoction).

My tastebuds say, ginger soaked in honey is yum. Just chew some to settle a stomach or head off a cold, sore throat, cramps or gas... ginger is great stuff and soaked in honey it's a lot better medicinally than the candied slices you can buy.

O yes, and we won't forget it is much more economical but beside that it feels good to know how to do things and make things that have a positive influence on your health- it's empowering!

Another wellness weapon in the do it yourself healthcare arsenal

Here's to your health - ginger root! Thank God for low cost, do it yourself healthcare!

It began a couple decades ago. A friend and I were producing "A Most Unusual Christmas Show".

"Christmas" was not politically incorrect then. It was as normal, traditional and acceptable as apple pie.

Wow! what changes a couple decades can bring! I guess I'm digressing here and that's a whole 'nother subject... well, maybe not... maybe it relates to "health" in America more than we may think - food for thought.

Anyway, I was coming down with a cold - not good, since I was doing a lot of singing in the "Show". One of the moms of an up and coming little actress shared a tip from her homemade health recipes.

She told me to start drinking Ginger tea. I put a tablespoon of vinegar and about a tablespoon of honey in a cup of hot water and sprinkled ginger from my spice cupboard liberally into it (maybe a half teaspoon worth).

It did the trick... yippee! and it didn't cost and arm and a leg. My voice was preserved and the cold progressed no further and I've drunk ginger tea ever since at the first sign of a cold. Just ask my kids. It's a family tradition and more fondly remembered than the garlic peanut butter blast.

The vinegar helps rebalance your system's PH and the honey is soothing and healing itself. You've probably heard of hot lemon and honey for colds and flu and lemon works a lot like vinegar so you can do the above using lemon instead.

My library's closing so gotta go but again I say, I am thankful for healthcare alternatives that don't make me pay through the nose.

Thank God for Peanut Butter!

This morning I'm reminded of how much I appreciate peanut butter. How many PBJs have you consumed over the years?

I wonder if there is a Guiness record on that...

Anyway, being somewhat of a healthnut I've used the unhydrogenated kind that you have to stir and that's messy and inconvenient. The Jiffkind is so smooth and pretty and convenient - it stays right where you put it.

Unfortunately, according to some experts it also stays put in your arteries which can be majorly inconvenient, perhaps tragic one day down the road.

My answer is to" have my cake and eat it too" - organic, of course, made with honey...just partly kidding.

I grind flaxseed in my coffee grinder (which never grinds coffee but does a great job on seeds and herbs etc.) and stir it into my oily peanut butter and viola... now my peanut butter stays where I put it, tastes great and adds all kinds of good stuff to my diet ala flaxseed.

Just wanted to share that with you before I take off to work.

Do It Yourself Healthcare

I was sharing about one of my best lines of defense when the bugs are attacking - trusty capsicum and garlic! This isn't likely going to be for everyone -no way! If you don't like the smell of garlic or your spouse (and he or she isn't willing to take some themself) this may not be for you. I don't notice that pungent garlicky aroma when we both partake so if one of you is under attack, don't suffer, join 'em.

I don't know how many times I've chased off those ickies and avoided a breakdown and bedtime with fever, aching bones and general all around misery. Usually a couple, three good doses keeps me going and feeling good enough that if I'm not paying attention I forget to take any more and then the symptoms start returning.

Which basically means that I need to keep taking it after I feel so much better - an extra few doses to bring me all the way out of the woods.

I want to be sure you understand that everyone is so unique and that is the great challenge of healthcare and why it is so important that folks start paying attention to their own bodies and discover what works for them. Those discoveries are wonderfully rewarding.

Finding ways to fight for you own health without drugs could become more and more important as super bugs arise that antibiotics can't touch.

Health is a precious gift we easily take for granted until we lose it. Then depending on how badly we lose it, it takes center stage in all our thoughts and efforts to reclaim it.

I guess it has been those times of loss that birthed my keen interest in how to understand that precious gift and nurture it. I remember musing over how our culture hands over responsibility for education to schools and teachers and health to doctors and drug companies and coming to a decision that I wouldn't do that because I knew they couldn't possibly care as much about those aspects of my life as I did.

So, for the past quarter of a century, I've been learning and observing and have discovered some things that work very well for me - things that have saved me lots of money in down-time and I bet there are others out there who also could share things that have worked for them.

Right now I've been fighting some icky bug and a basic ingredient in my arsenal is Capsicum and Garlic. Red Delicious apples are ideal mediums to carry a slathering of peanut butter mixed with a clove or two or three if they're small and several shakes of Capsicum. You may need to start with one shake and work up to more but the peanut butter does an awesome job of quenching the flames of that firey herb.

Gotta go, so I'll talk more about that next time.
